  • Master's Degree in Sociology (MA Sociology) with minimum 55% marks
  • NET/SET in Sociology

Experience:

  • 2-3 years with excellent academic record may apply.
  • Teaching and/or research experience at the university/college level will be preferred.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Sociology and related disciplines.
  • Guide students in academic projects, dissertations, and fieldwork.
  • Develop innovative pedagogical approaches and integrate ICT in teaching-learning.
  • Participate in curriculum design, academic planning, and departmental activities.
  • Conduct and publish original research in reputed journals and conferences.
  • Mentor students in career development, competitive exams, and higher studies.
  • Engage in extension activities, social research, and community outreach programs.
  • Contribute to institutional development, quality assurance, and accreditation processes (NAAC, IQAC, NBA, etc.).

Key Skills Required:

  • Strong knowledge of sociological theories, research methods, and contemporary issues.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and writing skills.
  • Ability to handle field-based research and data analysis.
  • Academic and research orientation with teamwork spirit.
