**Job Description - Assistant Professor (Paramedical Sciences)**

**Position**: Assistant Professor
**Department**: Paramedical Sciences
**Level**: Entry Level (Fresher Eligible)
**Location**: Guru Kashi University, Talwandi Sabo Bathinda Punjab
**Reports to**: Dean Department of Paramedical Sciences

**Eligibility Criteria**
- **Educational Qualification**:

- Master’s degree (Post Graduate) in Paramedical Sciences / Operation Theatre Technology / Medical Laboratory Technology or allied field from a recognized university.
- Ph.D. or enrolment as a Ph.D. Scholar in the relevant discipline (as per UGC regulations preferred).
- **Experience**:

- Freshers are eligible.
- Prior teaching, clinical, or research experience will be considered an added advantage.

**Roles & Responsibilities**
- Teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students in Paramedical Sciences.
- Conducting practical sessions in **Operation Theatre Technology, Medical Laboratory Technology, and other allied fields**.
- Designing and updating course material in line with UGC and industry standards.
- Guiding students in research projects, seminars, and dissertations.
- Assisting in departmental academic and administrative activities.
- Participating in curriculum development and accreditation processes.
- Engaging in research and publishing in reputed journals.
- Supporting institutional initiatives such as seminars, workshops, community outreach, and extension activities.

**Key Skills Required**
- Strong knowledge of Paramedical Sciences and allied technologies.
- Ability to conduct hands-on training in labs and clinical environments.
- Good communication and mentoring skills.
- Research orientation with interest in interdisciplinary collaboration.

Pay: ₹14,171.85 - ₹40,000.00 per month
