What you will do

Provide civil/structural engineering expertise to a variety of Upstream and Downstream manufacturing sites globally.Sustain ExxonMobil’s culture of safety and support compliance with established safety management systems.Participate in the development of company and industry standards.Provide technical support to Upstream and Downstream manufacturing sites.Assist facilities with risk management activities to ensure compliance with ExxonMobil’s Operation Integrity Management System expectations.Onshore Technical support is required in the following areas:Structural Design and Analysis of concrete and steel structuresStructural Integrity Plan Management and ExecutionFoundations and pilings for equipment and structuresDynamic analysis of foundations and structures

Offshore Technical support is required in the following areas:

Structural Design and Analysis of fixed and floating offshore structures includingConcrete Gravity BasedSteel Jacket PlatformsFloating Production Storage and Offloading Units (FPSOs)Semi-SubmersibleFatigue Analysis of offshore structuresStructural Integrity Plan Management and ExecutionApplication of metocean design criteria (wind and wave)

About You

Skills and QualificationsMaster’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering with GPA

or aboveMinimum 4 years of experience in Structural Engineering and Integrity Management for projects/in-service units in the Oil and Gas IndustryStrong technical & analytical skillsSite experience and knowledge in evaluations of existing structuresExperience with fixed and floating offshore structures, such as Concrete Gravity Based, Steel Jacket Platforms, Floating Production Storage and Offloading Units, Semi-SubmersibleManagement of engineering designPerform fitness for service engineering assessment based on existing conditions.Provide repair scope after structural assessments for continuous operations.Provide insights for advanced inspection technologies in civil/structural inspections.Interact with Design Engineers to develop engineering drawings. Review & approve civil / structural drawings.Familiarity with structural analysis and design software (, SACS, STAAD Pro, Mat 3D, CAP)

Preferred Qualifications/ Experience

Hand-on experience in developing design calculation sheets for reinforced concrete and steel structures using applicable design codes and standards.Able to identify the anomaly from civil / structural inspection report (for offshore topside/underwater and onshore structure), perform risk assessment and provide repair recommendation using sound engineering judgement and best practices.Candidates should be self-motivated and focused on achieving business results.Demonstrated teamwork and leadership skills are essential.Should be able to train and mentor young team member to enhance competency and capability in the team.Excellent communication skills.Willing and able to travel as required, both domestic and international
