We are looking for a People Manager for ISV Partner Development to join our team in Bangalore. This role will involve managing a team focused on developing and nurturing global partnerships, with a primary focus on the North American market. (We are looking for candidates willing to work in the East Coast time zones)
Qualifications:
- 9+ years of experience in technology partnerships or similar partner/client-facing roles at a top technology or market-leading company.
- Proven track record of building long-term (international) strategic relationships, preferably in the B2B SaaS market.
- Experience in managing teams in a fast-paced, ever-changing, startup environment.
- Ability to work across multiple time zones.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in partner management, preferably in the technology or software industry.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to track and report on key metrics.
- Knowledge of industry trends and competitive landscapes.
- Ability to travel as needed.
People Management Skills:
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
- Experience in performance management, including setting objectives, providing feedback, and conducting performance reviews.
- Ability to manage and resolve conflicts effectively within the team.
- Excellent coaching and mentoring skills to support the professional development of team members.
- Strong organizational skills to manage team activities and ensure alignment with business goals.
- Ability to foster a positive and inclusive team culture.
- Experience in recruitment and onboarding of new team members.
Responsibilities:
Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead and manage a team of partnership development professionals.
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to team members to ensure their professional growth and success.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture.
Partnership Development:
- Oversee the initiation and cultivation of relationships with key decision-makers at ISVs.
- Ensure the establishment of mutually agreed partnership objectives and alignment with internal and partner leadership.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align partnership strategies with overall business goals.
- Maintain cadence with key contacts at all levels of the partner organization to ensure continual monitoring, remediation, and achievement of key objectives.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between internal teams and ISV partners.
- Act as a liaison between technical and business teams to ensure successful integration and product development.
Performance Tracking and Reporting:
- Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for ISV partnerships.
- Prepare regular reports on partnership performance and provide insights for improvement.
Sales and Marketing Coordination:
- Coordinate efforts between sales and marketing teams from both organizations to drive joint initiatives.
- Develop and execute co-marketing campaigns and sales enablement activities in collaboration with ISV partners.
Strategic Planning:
- Develop and execute strategic plans for each ISV partner to maximize joint business opportunities.
- Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to identify new partnership opportunities.
Training and Enablement:
- Provide training and enablement resources to ISV partners to ensure a strong understanding of our products and services.
- Support partners in the development of joint marketing and sales activities.
Issue Resolution:
- Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the course of the partnership.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely issue resolution
