Position: Inside Sales Specialist – Biotech Desk Pvt. Ltd.

Location: Hyderabad

Role Overview

As an Inside Sales Specialist, you'll be at the forefront of growth—driving 
cross‑sell and upsell
 initiatives across academic and industrial zones. Working collaboratively with field sales, technical teams, and service providers, you'll convert leads into revenue and ensure high client satisfaction and retention.

Responsibilities

  1. Client Engagement
    : Understand client projects and scientific requirements through email, phone, and occasional virtual demos.
  2. Quotation & Proposal Creation
    : Prepare and present tailored, accurate quotes, project proposals, and reports aligned with customer needs.
  3. Cross-functional Coordination
    : Collaborate with technical teams to validate deliverables, check pricing and specifications, and ensure seamless execution.
  4. Lead Conversion & Target Achievement
    : Actively qualify inbound/outbound leads, identify upsell/cross‑sell opportunities, and close deals with academic and industrial clients.
  5. CRM & Reporting
    : Log all activities in CRM, maintain an updated sales pipeline, generate regular reports and track KPI progress.
  6. Client Follow-up
    : Maintain ongoing communication to ensure client satisfaction, renewals and expansion opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Master's in Life Sciences or Medical Biotechnology (solid background in Molecular Biology, Immunology, Bioinformatics)
  • 1–3 years of inside sales or scientific sales experience in biotech or life sciences
  • Strong proficiency in Word, Excel, and CRM tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Scientific temperament—ability to translate lab science into customer-focused solutions
  • Self-motivated with target focus and results-driven mindset
