Job Title: Lead Service Now Quality AnalystLocation: Chennai (Work from office only)Job Type: Full-timeExperience Required: 5+ years in Quality Assurance, 3+ years with Service Now platform testingJob Summary:We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Lead Service Now Quality Analyst to ensure the quality and reliability of Service Now implementations, enhancements, and upgrades. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of QA methodologies, a strong understanding of the Service Now platform, and experience leading QA efforts in agile environments.Key Responsibilities:Lead QA efforts for Service Now projects including Incident, Problem, Change, CMDB, Service Catalog, and custom applications.Develop and maintain test strategies, plans, and cases for Service Now functionalities and integrations.Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements and identify quality risks early.Perform functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing across multiple Service Now modules.Utilize automated testing tools such as ATF (Automated Test Framework) and other third-party tools as applicable.Maintain and enhance automated test suites for continuous testing in CI/CD pipelines.Track and report defects and testing progress using tools like JIRA, Service Now Agile, or Test Management plugins.Provide mentorship and guidance to junior QA analysts on Service Now testing best practices.Ensure testing complies with ITSM/ITIL processes and Service Now platform governance. Required Skills and Experience:5+ years of Quality Assurance experience, with at least 3 years focused on Service Now testing.Strong understanding of Service Now modules including ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, or others.Proficiency in using Service Now Automated Test Framework (ATF) and/or Selenium or other test automation tools.Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications:Service Now certifications (e.g., Certified System Administrator, Application Developer, or ATF Specialist).Experience with Service Now upgrade testing and managing testing cycles during version releases.Familiarity with API testing using Postman or similar tools.Experience in CI/CD environments using tools like Jenkins, Git, or Azure Dev Ops.
