Product Teams at Target Corporation are accountable for the delivery of business outcomes enabled through technology, guest facing products to delight customers. Product teams have one shared backlog that is inclusive of all product, technology and design work.
Role overview:
We are seeking seasoned product leaders to join our team focusing on Off Platform Commerce as Sr Product Manager. In this greenfield space, you will need to leverage guest research, quantitative data, and derive insights to innovate products for leveraging Target’s brand presence in various media outlets including social and improve conversion to sales on Target’s website
You will partner closely with advertising, site merchandising, marketing, and analytics. You will work closely with UX and technology team to ideate, create and lead product for Target guests and influencers/partners outside of Target ecosystem. Key to your success will be your ability to identify the joyful moments which drive guest delight in partner channels and reduce friction to purchase from off target platform.
This role is highly entrepreneurial with exposure to all aspects of Target’s business and requires strong drive, a deep curiosity for the industry and analytical prowess, critical thinking and thoughtful decision-making. Also, this role is highly visible and would require knowledge of all aspects of your product and the business with the ability to confidently present updates to Target senior leaders and large audiences regularly.
You will drive product discovery with key stakeholders to validate hypotheses and concepts with customers before committing engineering time. You will be the “voice of the product” to key stakeholders to ensure that their needs are met, and that the product team is getting the direction and support that it needs to be successful. You will develop and actively understand the market, maintain a product roadmap and backlog outlining the customer themes, epics, and stories while prioritizing the backlog to focus on the highest impact work for your team and stakeholders. You will encourage the open exchange of information and viewpoints, as well as inspire others to achieve challenging goals and high standards of performance while committing to the organization's direction. You will foster a sense of urgency to achieve goals and leverage resources to overcome unexpected obstacles, and partner with product teams across the organization to help them achieve their goals while pursuing and completing yours.

About you:
- 6+ years of product management experience or equivalent domain experience, preferably with marketing tech/ streaming product experience
- Proficient in ideation product road mapping, data driven prioritization, writing use cases, BRDs
- Experience developing and driving complex, cross-functional projects.
- Proven track record delivering across matrix organizations sustaining strong partnerships within and outside the organization.
- Ability to drive decisions, bring clarity in ambiguity, influence leadership, and manage business outcomes with pace.
- Strong communication skills that can tailor content and concepts based on audience (internal stakeholders and with external customers), leadership levels, and disciplines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior eCommerce/ marketing tech/ streaming product experience
- Experience in integration with 3rd party applications while sharing data securely
- Experience in building 0-1 products and finding product market fit
- MBA preferred
