This role requires a proactive, sales-focused individual who thrives on creating long-term partnerships and driving revenue through sales.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Business Development:

  • Act as a key player in building the field sales team and expanding Continuity 1’s client base through in-person meetings, site visits, and networking events.
  • Develop strategies to identify and acquire new clients across Pune and Mumbai, leveraging your on-the-ground knowledge to provide tailored recruitment solutions.
  • Regularly meet clients face-to-face to present Continuity 1’s services, understand their hiring needs, and offer recruitment solutions that align with their business objectives.
  • Build a sustainable sales pipeline, ensuring continuous client engagement and a healthy revenue flow for the new team.
  • Create and optimize sales content such as sales presentations, brochures, and proposals to effectively communicate Continuity 1’s value proposition to prospective clients.

2. Revenue Generation & Target Achievement:

  • Play a critical role in helping the company meet its annual revenue targets of ₹70 lakh to ₹1 crore by closing deals and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Drive the success of the new sales team by achieving revenue targets through effective pipeline management, strategic client engagement, and converting leads into revenue.
  • Work closely with the founder/CEO to develop and refine sales strategies that will help scale the business.

3. Client Relationship Management:

  • Be the primary point of contact for clients, managing their recruitment needs and ensuring high client satisfaction throughout the process.
  • Develop long-term relationships with key clients in Pune and Mumbai through regular communication, visits and providing value-added services to improve retention.
  • Collaborate with recruitment consultants and operations teams to ensure client requirements are met effectively and within timelines.

4. Regional Market Expertise (Pune & Mumbai):

  • Use your understanding of Pune and Mumbai’s job markets to identify target industries and sectors that have hiring needs, allowing you to focus your sales efforts accordingly.
  • Stay ahead of market trends and provide insights to help the founding team make informed decisions on business strategies.
  • Share market and industry knowledge with the team, ensuring that Continuity 1 is well-positioned as a leader in recruitment in these regions.

5. Team Collaboration & Reporting:

  • Collaborate with the recruitment, operations, and admin teams to ensure that the growing team is aligned with client needs and company goals.
  • Provide weekly and monthly reports to the CEO on pipeline progress, sales performance, and revenue forecasting.
  • As one of the initial hires, contribute to the overall team-building process, helping Continuity 1 establish its recruitment business in Pune and Mumbai.


Must-Have Skills & Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in sales in recruitment & staffing industry.
  • Met revenue targets between ₹70 lakh and ₹1 crore annually, with a track record of success in client engagement.
  • Experience working in a startup environment or high-growth business, where building processes from scratch is key.
  • Experience in interacting with C-Suite.
  • Existing network of client relationships in Pune and Mumbai.
  • Strong communication, client management, and negotiation skills, particularly in remote sales environments.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems and managing sales pipelines.


Compensation:

  • Base Salary: Competitive and based on experience.
  • Incentives/Bonus: 3-5% commission on revenue generated, with additional benefits based on individual and team performance.
  • Other Benefits: Hybrid work, flexible working hours.
