Position Summary with Job Responsibilities

Purpose of the position / Position Summary•To be responsible for the development of Sales in Zones in Government Departments & CSD / CPC.•Person need to coordinate with Central , State & PSU departments for adoption of Electric Cars in their fleet.•Need to work with all stake holders including external & internal for EV policy & implementation.Job ResponsibilityKey Result Areas:1) Formulating Sales strategy for selling Electric vehicle to the departments in assigned market, including planning and execution thru dealership level for achievement of sales in the segment.2) Understanding of Government Purchases thrua) GeM ( Government e Market Place )b) Tenderc) Leasing , Hire Purchased) Purchase & Hiring policy of vehicle by Government ( Understanding of GR)e) CSD / CPC3) Achieve sales targets in the assigned area or dealerships.4) Coordinating with the respective departments ,Government agencies , Plant , Government Accounts department and dealerships sales team for FAME and GeM ( Government e Market Place ) end to end Closing of transaction ( From Vehicle order placement to delivery and payment received from Department )5) Monitoring Government sales and ensuring Government customers satisfaction with our products.6) Maintaining database of key Government customer’s direct purchase (GeM, Non GeM), thru Leasing or Hire purchase and vehicle attached in the department.7) Market Intelligence: Should be aware of the market, live deals going on in the market, should develop good relation with financers and influencers to get market information.8) Ensuring regular visits to key Government departments and ensuring they remain our loyal customers.9) Maintain and strengthen existing relationships with Government departments & leasing agency10) Develop and grow new Government departments – Central Government & State Government departments among under-penetrated accounts in the assigned area/Dealerships.11) Develop and periodically update Government department sales pitch.12) Ensure regular product, sales process and soft skills training for all Government department DSEs at dealership.13) Volume / Market Share & Ensure assigned targets are achieved and Targeted market share is maintained.

Education

Degree in EngineeringMBAWork Experience

5-6 Years in Sales & inclination towards Institutional Sales
