Responsible for leading end-to-end SAP Retail projects, driving solution architecture, and ensuring seamless integration of retail processes across merchandising, supply chain, and store operations.Key Responsibilities1. Solution Architecture & DesignLead SAP IS-Retail solution design across major business areas:Master Data (Article, Site, Vendor, Customer)Merchandising & BuyingPurchasing & Procurement (Seasonal & regular)Pricing, Promotions, MarkdownsAssortment & Listing ManagementReplenishment & Inventory ManagementDistribution & Logistics (DC, Cross-Docking)POS Integration (CAR/POSDM)Conduct high-level FIT-GAP analysis and recommend best-practice retail solutions.Prepare detailed functional specifications for complex RICEFW objects.2. Project LeadershipLead SAP Retail implementation, rollout, or S/4HANA migration projects.Act as a functional lead for MM-Retail or cross-functional workstreams.Work closely with project managers, development teams, and business leaders.Plan and execute UAT, integration testing, and cutover activities.3. Business Process OptimizationAnalyze and optimize retail processes, improving efficiency and reducing operational bottlenecks.Implement automation and enhancements using SAP standard capabilities.Drive continuous improvement initiatives across master data, pricing, and merchandise management.4. Production Support & Issue ResolutionProvide L2/L3 support for critical retail operations.Troubleshoot issues related to:Article creation/listingPromotion pricingReplenishment failuresPOS data inconsistenciesWork with FI, SD, WM/EWM, and CAR teams for cross-module issues.5.
