Assistant Manager

As a key member of our Tax Department, you'll ensure compliance with tax and transfer pricing regulations and will oversee all tax-related functions, including filing tax returns, advising business and corporate teams, and managing tax related advisory/litigation across various geographies.
Job Description
Corporate Tax Compliance and Planning:
- Managing global direct and indirect tax compliances across various international subsidiaries of the group, ensuring their timely completion along with local country finance teams/tax consultants (including corporate tax returns, transfer pricing filings etc.)- Develop and maintain global tax tracker and compliance procedures to ensure effective tax compliance management- Review the preparation of the foreign income tax provisions including the analysis of tax payable, deferred tax assets/liabilities and uncertain tax positions.- Assistance in optimizing the overall tax cost at the group level to achieve/improve tax efficiencies.
International Tax and Transfer Pricing:
- Ensuring compliance with transfer pricing regulations across various jurisdictions (including transfer pricing study, Master File, Country by Country Reporting)- Develop, maintain and implement transfer pricing policies worldwide that are tax-compliant in all jurisdictions. Provide timely advice to the business units on transfer pricing matters.
Tax Litigation Support:
- Assistance in tax litigation matters across ARISE Global group entities along with country finance teams/external tax advisors- Advising finance teams across the Group on issues arising out of tax disputes / questions raised by the tax authorities.
Collaboration
- Collaborate with external tax advisors in matters relating to tax compliance, tax litigation, advisory- Stay updated with changes in international tax laws and regulations and proactively identify potential risks or opportunities for the organization.
Required Skills and Qualifications
1. Chartered Accountant (CA) with CA Intermediate/Non CA with 4-6 years of experience in corporate taxation.2. Experience in working on taxation of different countries will be an added advantage.3. Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.4. Good analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.5. Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.6. Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) software like SAP.
