Job Title

Senior Executive (Procurement) – Supply Chain Management

Reporting Supervisor

II. JOB PURPOSE

  • The role holder will be primarily responsible for Vendor Sourcing, Rate contract, Negotiations of Medical & Surgical Consumables and Implants for Central level.
  • The person shall also look after the procurement operations of group hospitals from time-to-time as required or directed by the supervisor.

III. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Core Responsibilities

  • Responsibility of receiving the daily purchase requests from the Hospitals and ensure the approval process from different departments after checking the correctness of information.
  • To review & update Indent / PO status & prepare technical / cost comparative statements
  • To check purchase orders and confirm the items received comply with the purchase order raised.
  • Follow-up with the suppliers / Companies for timely delivery of pending material.
  • Maintaining and updating the approved list of suppliers and supplier's evaluations and share it with proper analysis and recommendations.
  • Implement the Procurement Manual and related procedure.
  • Follow up with the Hospital vendors in delivery and receiving orders.
  • Maintain contact and negotiate with vendors; evaluate vendors' performance; processes claim with vendors for damaged materials and delay in delivery to the Hospital, monitors invoices for accuracy when applicable; reconciles discrepancies suppliers and obtain credit where appropriate.
  • Liquidation / vendor return of non-moving stock.
  • Prepare monthly reports about the procurement activities.
  • Any other tasks as assigned by the management.

Measurable Deliverables

  • Cost Optimization and Margin Savings.
  • Non-Moving Stock Liquidation / Vendor Return
  • Minimize the TAT of Material supply.
  • Annual RC Closure
  • Vendor Performance Evaluation

V. JOB REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Qualifications

Graduation, preferably MBA in SCM

Experience

  • 4 to 5 years of experience in the procurement of Medical & Surgical consumables and Consignment & Implants for Hospitals.

Behavioural Skills

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and conflict management ability.
  • Collaborative team player.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills.

Technical Skills

  • Strong analytical skills
  • Computer Literacy, with expertise in Excel and Power Point.
  • Good Negotiation Skills.
  • Knowledge of Surgical Consumables & Implants

Language Skills

English & Hindi
