Position Overview:
We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled IT Executive to join our team in Lower Parel, Mumbai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the companys IT infrastructure, supporting users across locations, and ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. IT Operations & Support
- Provide daily support for POS systems, servers, networks, and related hardware/software.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues quickly to ensure minimal downtime.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights across multiple systems.
- Monitor IT systems, backups, antivirus, and security protocols.
2. Network & Infrastructure
- Install, configure, and maintain LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and firewalls.
- Ensure reliable internet connectivity, troubleshoot outages, and coordinate with service providers.
- Maintain and upgrade network devices including switches, routers, and wireless access points.
3. Hospitality Applications
- Support POS (Point of Sale) systems, inventory management, reservation systems, and other hospitality software.
- Integrate online ordering platforms and loyalty programs with POS.
- Assist with updates, testing, and rollout of new technology features.
4. Data Management & Security
- Perform regular data backups and ensure restoration processes are in place.
- Monitor cybersecurity measures and antivirus tools.
- Ensure compliance with data protection policies and hospitality industry standards.
5. Hardware & Software Maintenance
- Manage procurement, installation, and repair of laptops, desktops, printers, CCTV, and other devices.
- Track software licenses, renewals, and warranty contracts.
- Ensure all systems are patched and updated.
6. Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination
- Work closely with vendors for hardware support, maintenance contracts, and software licensing.
- Assist other departments with technology requirements and onboarding.
7. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of IT assets, service requests, and troubleshooting logs.
- Generate reports on system performance and incident resolution.
- Support preparation of budgets, forecasts, and IT project plans.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 13 years of relevant experience in IT support or system administration.
- Good understanding of networking, Windows OS, and basic server management.
- Experience in hospitality industry IT systems (POS, CCTV, Wi-Fi, etc.) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
