Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Development Executive to join our Conference Operations team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving growth by developing new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and ensuring smooth execution of conferences and events. This role combines elements of business development, sales, and event operations to create a seamless experience for clients and attendees.

Key Responsibilities:
Business Development:

Identify and target potential clients in the conference and events industry.
Develop strategies to attract new business opportunities and expand the client base.
Generate leads through networking, cold calling, and attending industry events.
Create customized proposals and presentations to pitch to prospective clients.
Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
Conference Operations:

Coordinate all aspects of conference logistics, including venue selection, registration, vendor management, and on-site setup.
Work closely with the events team to ensure the smooth execution of conferences and manage any issues that arise during events.
Develop and manage event budgets to maximize profitability and minimize expenses.
Ensure high-quality customer service for attendees, speakers, and sponsors.
Oversee event timelines, ensuring deadlines are met for all deliverables.
Client Relations:

Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
Act as the main point of contact for clients before, during, and after the events.
Collect feedback from clients to improve future conferences and services.
Market Research and Strategy:

Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities within the conference and events sector.
Analyze competitor activities and develop strategies to stay ahead in the industry.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to guide decision-making.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Event Management, or a related field.
Proven experience in business development or sales, preferably in the conference and events industry.
Strong knowledge of event planning and conference operations.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.
Willingness to travel as needed for business and conference events.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in managing corporate events or conferences.
Knowledge of event management software and CRM systems.
Understanding of digital marketing and social media promotions.
