Senior Accountant

Postion Summary:
SeniorAccountant is responsible for implementation of all accountingprocedures of the department as per the guidelines of localgovernment as well as the parent Company. The position plays a keyrole in bookkeeping Accounts Payable Accounts Receivable Bankingand all other accounting activities. The Senior Accountant willalso be responsible for preparing reporting for internal andexternal purposes. This position will also implement financialcontrols ensuring the accounting processes are robust compliant andsupport current activities and future growth.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform coordinate & supervisevarious accounting tasks such as Bookkeeping Accounts PayableAccounts Receivable Banking Cash Application ReconciliationsFinancial Reporting etc.
- Handle high volume oftransactions with utmost accuracy within prescribedtimelines.
- Maintains accounting ledgers byposting account transactions.
- Performsreconciliations and analysis of ledgers to ensure completeness andaccuracy.
- Maintain accurate historical recordsand documentation for audit support.
- Prepare reporting for internaland external use on a routine or adhoc basis.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support thefinance team.
- Understand and adhere to allcompany policies including but not limited to security tradesecrets and confidentiality of all information.
PROFESSIONALQUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
- Qualified CA along with 3 years in US/UKAccounting.
- Handson experience with OracleNetSuite is strongly preferred.
- Exposure toother popular accounting applications such as TallyQuickBooks
- Experience with Microsoft Officewith Advanced Excel knowledge required.
- StrongEnglish communication skills both written and verbal with problemsolving ability.
- Flexibility to grow andchange with company needs.
- Ability to workindependently and as part of a team.
- Strongattention to detail.
