  • Thisposition reports to the Accounts Payable Senior Manager who isbased out of the US. The Accounts Payable Operations Manager isideal for an experienced Accounts Payable professional looking tohave a critical role in a growing companys AP Team.
  • As the liaison between US leadership and offshoreresources the Operation Managers areas of focus within AccountsPayable are: customer service helpdesk vendor management paymentsincluding partner payments vendor payments and employeereimbursements travel and expense corporate credit card.
  • This role requires a high level ofinteraction with vendors employees (including Executives) andbusiness partners: Internal Audit Procurement GL FP&A Treasuryand AR.
  • We are looking for someone who has atrack record of leading a growing team and is capable of scalingand refining our accounts payable processes to support ourfastgrowing business.
  • The position isresponsible for bringing in best practice problem solving andstreamlining AP operations. The successful candidate is someone whoproactively identifies problems develops options seeks input fromstakeholders and effectively makes decisions.
Responsibilities:
  • Serve as an endtoend functional lead forAccounts Payable including oversight of helpdesk vendor managementinvoice processing payments travel & expense and corporatecredit card
  • Grow and build a new team provideguidance training promote development and continuous improvement toensure optimal performance
  • Establish KPIs andSLAs; drive operational initiatives to meet expectations andregular reporting of metrics to leadership
  • Adherence to existing policies and participate indevelopment of bestinclass processes and policies
  • Collaborate crossfunctionally to resolve complex issues
  • Support controls and documentation regardingSOX compliance
  • Timely and accurate processingof payments
  • Support month end close includingaccruals invoice/payment recording and account reconciliation
  • Participate in and support other projects asassigned including system upgrades patches and implementations.
Requirements:
  • BA/MA Degree inAccounting and/or Business Finance and or CA (Chartered Accountant)preferred
  • 7 Years of Experience AccountsPayable implementing and managing AP teams in a Captive or HybridShared Service environment
  • 5 Years ofdirectly managing 5 employees with relevant experience in AccountsPayable
  • Knowledge of SarbanesOxley Act of 2002
  • Excellent communication skills are a mustwith a very good command over written and spoken English
  • Experience reassessing endtoend processes and thereduction of bottlenecks at various points
  • Ability to research analyze scenarios adapt thinking asneeded and recommend appropriate steps to address tax and businesschallenges
  • Experience working with a publiccompany
  • Thorough understanding of Procurementfunction Attention to detail organized strong management skills;ability to handle multiple priorities within tight deadlinesFlexibility and adaptability the ability to deal with changinginternal and external environments
  • Quantitative skills (e.g. ability to create and/or reviewExcel spreadsheets and PowerPoint slides)
  • Strong understanding of ERP (BILL/Coupa/NetSuite) T&Esystems (BILL Spend and Expense/Expensify)
  • Knowledge of US GAAP/IFRS is desirable
  • Goaloriented with a mindset of transformation or sixsigma
  • A selfstarter and teamplayer
