Key responsibilities
Strategic Planning and Management:
Develop and execute comprehensive infrastructure strategies aligned with organizational goals. Manage physical facilities, technology systems, budgets, and resources efficiently.Team Leadership and Collaboration:
Lead and motivate a high-performing infrastructure team, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and alignment of infrastructure initiatives with business objectives.Security and Compliance:
Implement and oversee security measures and protocols to protect infrastructure assets and data. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements related to infrastructure operations.Vendor Management and Partnerships:
Evaluate, select, and manage external vendors and service providers to ensure quality and cost-effective solutions. Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and partners to support infrastructure needs and initiatives.Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity:
Develop and maintain robust disaster recovery and business continuity plans to mitigate risks and ensure uninterrupted operations. Conduct regular testing and simulations to assess and improve preparedness.Infrastructure Optimization and Innovation:
Continuously assess and optimize infrastructure performance, scalability, and efficiency. Identify and leverage emerging technologies and automation opportunities to enhance infrastructure operations and capabilities.Reporting and Documentation:
Generate regular reports and analysis on infrastructure performance, expenses, and key metrics. Maintain accurate documentation of infrastructure configurations, procedures, and policies.
Role requirements
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field. Proven track record with 14+ years of experience in infrastructure management, including leadership roles. Strong technical expertise in infrastructure components, cloud services (Azure preferred), security protocols, and compliance standards. Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills. Budget management experience and financial acumen. Certifications such as Azure Certified Administrator, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or relevant industry certifications are advantageous.
