About the Organization:
Madhu Jayanti International Limited was established in 1942 by the late Shri Jayantilal H. Shah. Today we are one of the pioneering tea houses in value added tea manufacture and export from India and a renowned player in the international market of private labels as well as our own brands. Our Private Labeling business has a strong presence across the globe, particularly in countries like United States of America, Australia & Europe. Our own brands are present in far eastern Russia and West Africa. We have successfully acquired the 146 year old Balmer Lawrie Tea company's manufacturing assets.The company acquired Eveready’s packet tea business and its brands including Tez Red, Premium Gold and Jaago. The core expertise of Jay Tea lies in production of Black Tea, Green Tea, Red Tea and White Tea in the form of tea bags, caddies, pouches & packets. Apart from that Jay Tea also offers a wide range of flavor and speciality tea. Some of the popular brands of Jay Tea in the international market are Tea India, Gold Bond, Victoria and many others.
Role Objective:
The role shall be responsible for end to end operations in factory & also needs to take care of the international market & business development.
Job Description:
- Leading overall strategic planning and execution for the manufacturing unit to drive operational excellence and profitability.
- Developing and implementing strategies to increase productivity, efficiency, and quality standards in manufacturing operations.
- Managing budgets, financial planning, cost control measures, and revenue targets for both the manufacturing unit and international sales operations.
- Building and managing relationships with suppliers, clients, and international partners to drive sales growth and expansion into global markets.
- Overseeing sales teams and ensuring alignment with international sales goals and targets, providing guidance and support on sales strategies and practices.
- Identifying new business opportunities, markets for growth, and potential international clients while conducting thorough market research and analysis.
- Negotiating contracts, agreements, and partnerships with both local and international clients, ensuring compliance with regulations and trade agreements.
- Travelling internationally to meet with key clients, partners, attend trade shows, and represent the company in global markets.
- Analyzing market trends, competition, and industry developments to make informed business decisions and drive overall business success.
- This combined role requires a strong blend of leadership, strategic thinking, sales acumen, international business acumen, and relationship-building skills to steer the manufacturing unit towards global success in sales and operations.
