Basic Function

Ability to identify inefficient/ineffective processes and develops recommendations to enhance controls and efficiency.  Providing coaching and feedback to team members to enable them to improve their performance Handling Escalation Provide inputs on process and system to the team Exposure to following areas will be preferred in Accounts Payable:

- Sort & process invoices

- Payments

- Bank processing & Reconciliations

Essential Functions

Meeting the SLA Targets Team management and Transaction Monitoring Productivity Improvement Client interaction, if required at supervisory level Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures, external regulations and information security standards Management reporting and oversight Leading a team of executives for checking, verifying, and validating data to ensure all details are correctly mentioned Driving Quality initiatives in the process to attain measurable positive results Introducing process metrics and reporting on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis Ensuring accuracy of client Financial Statements and compliance to internal control requirements Introducing new controls and ensuring robust functioning of the process as per ISO and SOX guidelines

Primary Internal Interactions

AVP, for the reporting and escalation Manager/Lead Assistant Manager, for the purpose of reporting performance, escalation handling, clarifying concerns, seeking support and monthly evaluation of performance Associates, for the purpose of up-skilling them on process-related updates, coaching, mentoring & providing assistance and support when required Subject Matter Expert, for the purpose of handling process related issues, queries and escalated transactions  QCA, for the purpose of associate performance feedback and audit in order to update the training curriculum

Primary External Interactions

Client operations team, trainers and, SMEs for the purpose of reporting developing and updating training curriculum, provide feedback on training and discussing specific action plans Escalation teams at the client end for the purpose of seeking clarifications & answering queries

Organizational Relationships

Reports To : Sr. Manager/Manager Supervises : CCE / SMEs and Trainers

Education Requirements

Masters/ Bachelors degree in Accounting 

Work Experience Requirements

• Total work experience should be a minimum of 3+ years in the field of Finance/Accounts
