Role & responsibities :

Skills Required :

  • 4+ years of experience as a Linux Administrator (Red Hat & Ubuntu).
  • Expertise in Linux system configuration, management, and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in shell scripting and automation (Bash, Python, Perl).
  • Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, KVM) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  • Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols.
  • Basic knowledge on Storage and Backup.
  • Basic knowledge on windows servers.
  • Good understanding of DHCP, NTP, SMTP, DNS and SNMP
  • Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as RHCE (Red Hat Certified Engineer) or similar are highly desirable.

Job Description

  • Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers and related software, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and reliability of Linux servers. Utilize tools and techniques to optimize performance and proactively address potential issues.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to Linux systems. Provide high-level support for escalated incidents and problems.
  • Implement and manage security measures to protect Linux servers from unauthorized access and vulnerabilities. Ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.

Develop and maintain scripts for system automation using languages such as Bash, Python, or Perl. Implement automation tools to streamline repetitive tasks and improve efficiency
