Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Linux Administrator located in Hyderabad. The Senior Linux Administrator will manage and maintain Linux servers, ensuring system stability and performance. Day-to-day tasks include performing system updates, configuring and securing systems, monitoring server performance, and troubleshooting issues. The role also involves automating administrative tasks and collaborating with the IT team to design and implement new solutions.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Linux server administration and maintenance
- Experience with system updates, configuration, and security
- Skills in monitoring server performance and troubleshooting issues
- Knowledge of automating administrative tasks using scripting
- Ability to work collaboratively within an IT team
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Relevant certifications such as RHCE (Red Hat Certified Engineer) are a plus
