Key Responsibilities : System Administration & Troubleshooting :


- Perform comprehensive Linux Administration and troubleshooting for 5+ years, ensuring system stability and optimal performance.

- Manage and fine-tune systems for optimal performance.

- Conduct OS and Hardware firmware upgrades effectively.

- Possess good knowledge in various Linux OS distributions (Redhat, Oracle Linux, CentOS, Ubuntu, OpenSuse, Debian) along with patching and rollback procedures.

- Install and troubleshoot LDAP, DNS, DHCP, LVMs, NFS.

- Perform user administration, manage file systems and logs.

- Experience with software package installation (deb, rpm, etc.).

- Knowledgeable in Linux internals to debug and solve installation issues related to environment, drivers, libraries, etc.

Cloud & Automation :

- Work with AWS in an enterprise environment, contributing to cloud infrastructure management.

- Automate deployments and configuration management using various tools.

- Strong experience in scripting using Bash, Perl, Python, and Ansible.

- Install and configure High Availability environments.

Server & Network Management :

- Possess good knowledge of Web servers like Apache, Apache Tomcat, NGINX.

- Good knowledge in Firewalls (IPTables) and SELinux.

Specific Platform Administration :

- Administer Red Hat Satellite Server.

- Setup and configure Red Hat Satellite and Kickstart Servers for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7/8/9 installs and RHN Push Updates.

Database Knowledge :

- Possess knowledge of databases like Oracle, MySQL, Postgres, etc.

Mandatory Skills & Certifications

- Linux Administration : 5+ years of experience in Linux Administration and troubleshooting.

- Certifications : RHCE and AWS certifications are mandatory.

- AWS Experience : Experience with AWS in an enterprise environment.

- Redhat Satellite : Experience in Redhat Satellite Server Administration.

- Automation & Scripting : Experience with automation (deployments, configuration management) and hands-on scripting in Bash, Perl, Python & Ansible.

- High Availability : Experience in installing and configuration of High Availability environment.

- OS Knowledge : Good knowledge in Linux OS (Redhat, Oracle Linux, CentOS, Ubuntu, OpenSuse, Debian) along with patching and Rollback.

- Web Servers : Good knowledge in Web servers like Apache, Apache Tomcat, NGINX.

- Security : Good knowledge in Firewalls (IPTables) and SELinux.

- Networking Services : Good knowledge in installing and troubleshooting LDAP, DNS, DHCP, LVMs, NFS.

- System Management : Good knowledge in user administration, file systems and Logs, and software package installation.

- Troubleshooting : Knowledgeable in Linux internals to debug and solve installation issues - environment, drivers, libraries, etc.

- Database Fundamentals : Knowledge of databases like Oracle, MySQL, Postgres, etc.

- Red Hat Specifics : Experience with Red Hat Satellite and Kickstart Servers setup and configuration.

Good to Have :

- Experience with monitoring tools like Logic Monitor, Opsramp, AppDynamics.

- Experience with Docker.

- Source code control (GitHub).

- Experience on AIX, Solaris (other Unix-like OS).
