J ob Title: Head of Quality Location: Building No. 410, Sector-8, IMT Manesar, Haryana - 122 050 (India) Industry: Production Company, Electrical Engineering (ca. 220 employees) Employment Type:  Full time Employees Union: No Job Summary The Head of Quality is responsible for leading and managing all quality assurance and improvement activities across products, processes, and systems. The role ensures adherence to the highest standards of quality, compliance with relevant regulations, and continuous enhancement of organizational performance. This position requires a strategic and proactive professional with strong leadership capabilities, a results-driven mindset, and deep expertise in quality systems within a manufacturing and engineering context. What you can expect Monitor and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure compliance and prevent non-conformities related to product, process, or system performance Lead and support quality and process improvement initiatives across all departments Oversee quality control of work through systematic reviews and audits Undertake and manage special projects related to quality improvement as required Promote and implement customer-focused continuous improvement techniques such as Six Sigma, Poka-Yoke (Error Proofing), and Measurement System Analysis Participate in the development and refinement of Design and Process FMEAs (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) Manage and coordinate customer PPM (Parts per Million), cost recovery, and supplier warranty indicators Analyze quality data and present progress reports in management and project meetings Contribute to the achievement of organizational goals within defined budgets and timelines Stay updated on manufacturing and engineering trends that impact company products Represent the voice of the customer in all quality-related processes and activities What we are looking for Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field Experience: 17+ years of total professional experience in quality management or related fields Minimum 12–15 years of relevant experience in manufacturing or engineering quality systems Proven track record in leading continuous improvement projects and managing cross-functional quality teams Knowledge: Strong understanding of quality core tools and methodologies In-depth knowledge of IATF, ISO 4500, and OHSAS 18001 standards Familiarity with process control, measurement systems, and risk management practices Comprehensive understanding of customer expectations and cost of poor quality Skills: Excellent planning, prioritization, and organizational skills Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities Skilled negotiator with ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships Capable of working independently and leading cross-functional teams Solid understanding of data analysis and KPI reporting tools Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken Attributes: Highly motivated, proactive, and detail-oriented Strong leadership presence with the ability to inspire and drive results Committed to continuous improvement and operational excellence Collaborative team player with a strategic and customer-oriented mindset Are you interested?
