Regional Sales Manager - Equipment Sales will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth, expand market share, and enhance customer satisfaction in the Indian Market - mainly in the Food Processing Sector. The candidate should have a proven track record of achieving sales targets. He will have a strong work ethic, extensive knowledge of industrial equipment, good problem-solving skills and should be able to interact & close food processing machinery sales cycles.


Responsibilities


  • Lead generation for new applications on food applications (Snack foods, Chocolates, Confectionery, Candies & Gummies)
  • Industrial Experience is a must
  • Able to communicate with prospects and share detailed information to the concerned team or principal.
  • Taking ownership of machineries and technical hands-on experience in handling capital equipment
  • Should be able to understand the customer applications and recommend solutions
  • Coordinating and follow up with clients/team/principals for demonstrations, shipments, and quotes etc.
  • Market data and awareness of competition shall be an added advantage.
  • Participating in Trade-Shows and should have the willingness to travel PAN-India
  • Able to read and understand basic electrical and mechanical schematics/drawings.


Qualifications and Skills-

  • Proven experience in sales management, preferably in the food machinery or related industries.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. MBA preferred.
  • Experience in Equipment manufacturing / Material Handling / Automation / FMCG / Food
  • Processing / Potato processing would be a plus.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve business objectives.
  • In-depth knowledge of sales principles, techniques, and best practices.
  • Ability to analyze market data and trends to identify growth opportunities.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
