International Sales Specialist
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and driven International Sales Specialist with a background in SaaS solutions to join our dynamic team. This individual will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding our customer base, and ensuring the successful adoption of our software in international markets. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of sales success, deep SaaS knowledge, and the ability to navigate global markets and sales cycles.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Market Expansion:
- Develop and implement international sales strategies to drive growth and adoption of our SaaS products in new and existing markets. Identify high-potential regions and customer segments.
Lead Generation & Prospecting:
- Proactively generate new leads and identify opportunities within international markets through outreach, inbound marketing, networking, and attending industry events.
Product Knowledge & Solution Selling:
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of the company's SaaS offerings and how they can solve clients' business problems. Engage with prospects to understand their needs and position the product as a solution.
Sales Presentations & Demos:
- Deliver tailored product presentations and demos to international clients, effectively communicating the value proposition, ROI, and unique features of the software solution.
Consultative Sales Approach:
- Work closely with prospects to understand their business requirements and challenges, provide customized solutions, and guide them through the sales process with a consultative approach.
Contract Negotiations & Deal Closure:
- Lead negotiations, create proposals, and close deals while navigating the complexities of international contracts, currencies, and regulations. Ensure all terms comply with international legal requirements.
Pipeline Management & Reporting:
- Manage and maintain an active pipeline of international opportunities. Provide regular updates and sales forecasts to senior management. Ensure accurate reporting and tracking of sales activities using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with international clients, providing ongoing support and guidance during the post-sale phase to ensure successful implementation and adoption of the SaaS solution.
Collaboration Across Teams:
- Work closely with the marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure alignment on customer needs, product enhancements, and effective follow-up on sales leads.
Cultural Sensitivity & Localization:
- Understand and adapt sales strategies to the cultural and business nuances of diverse international markets. Customize messaging, pricing, and contracts to suit regional differences.
Continuous Learning & Market Insights:
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, SaaS innovations, and emerging market needs to remain competitive and relevant in international sales efforts.
Skills & Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field. MBA or similar advanced qualifications are a 3-5 years of proven experience in international sales, specifically in selling SaaS products or cloud-based software solutions. Experience selling to C-level executives and decision-makers is essential.
Industry Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of SaaS business models, subscription-based pricing, and software licensing models.
Language Proficiency:
- Fluency in English is highly desirable. Any foreign language would be a plus.
Sales Skills:
- Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales quotas in an international SaaS environment. Skilled in consultative selling, upselling, and & Sales Tools:
- Proficiency with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and familiarity with sales enablement tools (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach).
Communication & Negotiation Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage, present, and negotiate with stakeholders at all levels of an Sensitivity & Adaptability:
- Experience working with international clients and understanding the unique dynamics and business cultures in different regions (EMEA, APAC, North America, LATAM).
Problem-Solving & Adaptability:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex sales cycles, adapt to market changes, and overcome challenges.
Self-Driven & Autonomous:
