SaaS Product Manager

Job Title : JD 25_ SaaS Product Manager (SaaS B2B Logistics Tech)
Department : Product & Engineering Team
Location : On site - Kolkata, West Bengal
About the role:
Translate the product vision into highly engaging and effective Web, Mobile Web, and App experiences for our customers
Write detailed product requirement documents, roadmaps and manage sprints to bring the roadmap to life, with a focus on agile product development
Integrate usability studies, user research, user journey, market analysis, competitor benchmarking and community feedback into product requirements to ensure our product experience satisfy market specific user needs and raises the bar
Coordinate with the product team, CXO’s, customer success team, sales team, marketing team and designers to ensure cohesiveness of the overall customer experience.
Clearly communicating progress towards delivery, technical challenges that may occur, and to provide clarity on customer needs using a data driven approach
Owns the project and product management. Develops and maintains the product strategy and roadmap
Regularly assess product metrics, user feedback, and operational efficiency. Spearhead redesigns and refinements when necessary.
Designing, developing and managing activities from product definition & planning to production and release
Managing prioritisation and trade-offs between customer experience, business impact, performance, and post-launch support
Working cross-functionally with design and technology teams to ensure timely and quality release of product/ enhancements
Ensure the product meets the stringent data security, privacy standards and regulations policy to ensure product compliance and mitigating potential risks.
Offer guidance and mentorship to junior members, fostering a culture of growth, innovation, and collaboration.
Type of Roles within PM
Freight Contract, Freight Accounting & Payment Processing: Preference CA with understanding of GST, Accounting, eWaybill, eInvoice, Bill discounting, etc. Or anyone who has worked on Accounting SaaS Product
Drive Adoption: Understanding of analytical tools to track KPIs and understand user behaviour. Design workflows to drive user self adoption without human touch.
Growth and Acquisition: Identify growth opportunities by creating tools using data in the platform. Identify external integration opportunities with marketplaces and other solutions to drive more customers and grow the ecosystem.
SAP ERP Integration: Good understanding of SAP Hana and integration touch points and best practices.
Desired qualifications:
Educational qualification - Bachelor’s degree in technology or CA
Additionally, it will be preferred if you have a Master's degree in Business Management.
Total experience - 2 to 5 years
Prior product management experience 2+ years for SaaS Product.
Past experience in any one of the below:
Logistics Tech or
SaaS Product in ERP / HRM / CRM / Accounting
Good written and oral communication skills
Entrepreneurial mindset, with a bias for customer-focused innovation.
Flair for good UX/UI
Inclination towards data lead decision making.
Excellent analytical skills with demonstrated experience turning data into actionable insights.
Deep understanding of business strategy and metrics.
