Head of Finance (Retail /Furniture/ Furniture)

This senior leadership role is responsible for the financial health and strategic direction of a retail or furniture mall. The Head of Finance oversees all financial operations, providing key insights to support business growth and stability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Strategy: Develop and execute the company's financial strategy, leading budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling for new business opportunities.
  • Operations & Management: Oversee all daily financial operations, including accounting, payroll, and cash flow management, while ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Prepare comprehensive financial reports and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) specific to the retail industry, such as sales per square foot and inventory turnover, to provide actionable recommendations.
  • Compliance: Ensure the company complies with all financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards, and manage audits and risk mitigation.
  • Leadership: Lead and mentor the finance and accounting teams and collaborate with other departments to achieve business objectives.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting is required; an MBA, CPA, or CFA is highly preferred.
  • Experience: At least 8-10 years of progressive finance experience, with 3-5 years in a senior management role, preferably in the retail or real estate industry.
  • Skills: Strong technical skills in financial planning, ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), and Excel, along with excellent leadership, analytical, and communication abilities.
