Our Aftermarket team are responsible for partnering with our dealer network to execute mining parts sales strategies within India. This position works as a key member of the wider team and works closely with dealers and customers to execute and achieve Caterpillar’s annual business plan, by marketing company products and services, and assisting in the development of dealer sales capability.
Key Responsibility Areas
Execute Caterpillar’s business model by leveraging dealer capabilities and deliver Caterpillar’s annual business plan for mining spare parts. Develop and maintain highly functional, professional, and mutually trusted business relationship with dealers. Leverage deep understanding of the mining market, ecosystem, and various operating business models in the market to identify potential growth opportunities. Sales opportunities identification, customer satisfaction improvement and business relationship enhancement. Designing and assisting dealers on the target setting, sales planning, aftermarket sales strategy planning, and sales techniques. Supporting the rollout of new products and services. Exhibit high level of commercial acumen in managing an annual marketing budget (sales variance) to ensure maximum return of investment (ROI) for Caterpillar by following established guidelines and internal policies. Adopt technology solutions to grow sales and revenues like sales funnel management, Power BI for analytics, eCommerce solutions and emerging technologies (AI, automation, and electrification/alternate fuels)

Be highly motivated, proactive and driven to achieve success. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build solid professional relationships. Excellent analytical skills Strong customer focus with an ability to understand customer value drivers, organisational culture and engage at all levels of the business. Experience in sales, including developing sales strategies and account management, with a strong commercial acumen. Demonstrated experience within a mining, heavy industrial or aftermarket industry. 4 Year engineering degree (preferably Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation or Mining) or equivalent with a postgraduate degree/diploma in business management (marketing, operations, general management).-
