Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Secretary at Talwar Jewellery House in Chandigarh, India. The Assistant Secretary will assist in day-to-day administrative tasks, manage correspondence, maintain records, schedule appointments, and provide support to senior management. Additionally, the Assistant Secretary will handle phone calls, emails, and other communication with clients and vendors.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Act as the first point of contact for customers, providing assistance with inquiries and offering information about our products and services.
  • Handle customer grievances and complaints with empathy and efficiency, ensuring timely resolutions and a positive customer experience.
  • Coordinate and schedule appointments, meetings, and follow-ups for senior management.
  • Maintain and update customer records and assist in processing orders, exchanges, and returns.
  • Assist in daily office operations, including filing, documentation, and general administrative tasks.
  • Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Support other team members with any additional tasks as required.


Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
  • 1+ years of experience in a customer service or administrative role, preferably in the retail or jewelry industry.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • A customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.


Preferred:

  • Experience in handling customer grievances in the luxury or retail sector.
  • Knowledge of jewelry products and industry trends.
