Key Responsibilities:

Media Relations & Coverage

  • Coordinate with journalists, reporters, and media houses for interviews, press conferences, and coverage.
  • Draft and distribute press releases, media kits, and statements.
  • Maintain and update media contact databases.

Content & Messaging

  • Develop engaging content for press, social media, and official communications.
  • Ensure consistency in campaign messaging across different platforms.
  • Collaborate with speechwriters, PR team, and digital strategists.

Social Media & Digital Outreach

  • Manage official social media accounts of the candidate/campaign.
  • Plan, schedule, and monitor posts, videos, and campaign updates.
  • Track social media engagement and respond promptly to public queries/comments.

Event Coordination

  • Support campaign events, rallies, and press briefings by ensuring media presence and coverage.
  • Handle live updates, photography, and video documentation for digital use.

Monitoring & Reporting

  • Monitor media trends, news coverage, and opposition narratives.
  • Prepare daily/weekly media reports and suggest communication strategies.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years proven experience in media, public relations, or campaign communications.
  • Strong understanding of political landscapes and media dynamics.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills in Tamil and English.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage crises, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹43,090.58 per month
