Our client is a leading bank in Vietnam who is looking for a qualified candidate to join their firm:
  • Assist in developing and implementing the bank’s risk management framework and policies.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor and report on the bank’s risk exposure and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes and ensure the bank’s risk management practices comply with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Coordinate with regulatory bodies and manage audits and examinations related to risk management.
  • Prepare comprehensive risk reports for senior management and the board of directors.
  • Analyze risk data and trends to provide insights and recommendations for risk mitigation.
  • Develop and maintain risk indicators and metrics to monitor the bank’s risk profile.
  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of risk management systems and tools.
  • Ensure the accuracy and reliability of risk management data and systems.
  • Lead and mentor the risk management team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective risk management practices are integrated across the organization.
  • Develop and implement crisis management plans to respond to potential risk events.
  • Lead the response to risk incidents, ensuring effective communication and resolution.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, auditors, and regulators, to communicate risk management strategies and findings.
  • Promote risk awareness and training programs across the bank to enhance risk management capabilities.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., FRM, PRM, CFA) is preferred.
  • At least 7+ years of experience in risk management within the banking or financial services industry, with a proven track record in a leadership role.
  • In-depth knowledge of risk management principles, practices, and regulatory requirements in the banking sector.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in risk management software and tools.
  • Leadership and team management abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.
