This position is responsible for providing high-level analysis, insights, and reporting to inform executive leadership and drive evidence-based planning across academic, research, and operational domains. As a Senior Portfolio Analyst, you will: Conduct in-depth analysis of the university’s strategic and operational portfolios to assess performance, risk, and alignment with institutional goals. Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate portfolio insights to senior leadership. Provide analytical support for strategic planning, investment prioritisation, and resource allocation decisions. Collaborate with planning and finance teams to ensure portfolio decisions are financially sustainable and strategically aligned. Support the development and refinement of portfolio management frameworks, tools, and methodologies. To be successful, you’ll have: An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training (engineering, IT, project management or business). Extensive experience working in large scale PMOs or Portfolios , in a physical or digital delivery environment. Experience in resource capacity planning and demand management. Experienced in Project Management Office (PMO) functions and Portfolio Project Management tools. Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall ways of working & principles, and other project delivery methodologies. Strong analytical skills with experience in business analysis or project analysis with the ability to interpret complex project data and provide actionable insights.
