Job Description FP&A Analyst Location: Perth, WASalary: $140,000 + SuperWork Type: Full-time About the Role We are seeking a high-calibre FP&A Analyst to support strategic decision-making through financial modelling, performance analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and stakeholder engagement. This role is ideal for an experienced analyst who enjoys working with complex data, building robust financial models, and translating insights into clear, actionable recommendations for senior leaders. Key Responsibilities Financial Modelling Build, maintain, and enhance financial models to support scenario planning, investment analysis, and strategic initiatives. Ensure all models are well-documented, scalable, and aligned with best practice. Develop and maintain economic and commercial models, forecasts, and budgets to support organisational decision-making. Provide modelling support for investment decisions, pricing frameworks, contractual arrangements, and capital investment analysis. Performance Analysis Prepare and deliver timely, accurate financial reports including monthly performance packs, variance analysis, and executive dashboards. Analyse financial results and trends to identify risks, opportunities, and actionable insights. Collect, analyse, and interpret financial and operational data to support performance evaluation. Support the development and refinement of management reporting frameworks and KPIs. Forecasting & Budgeting Assist in the preparation of corporate budgets and rolling forecasts in collaboration with business units and finance partners. Support periodic forecast updates and long-term planning activities. Maintain and enhance forecasting models to reflect evolving business drivers. Assist with the preparation of budget and forecast papers for senior leadership review. Reporting & Communication Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management and key stakeholders. Clearly communicate financial performance, trends, and insights to both financial and non-financial audiences. Translate complex financial analysis into practical, decision-ready recommendations. Process Improvement & Automation Identify opportunities to streamline FP&A, forecasting, and reporting processes. Leverage analytics and visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI, advanced modelling tools) to improve efficiency and insight quality. Support the ongoing development of systems and processes aligned to broader business improvement initiatives. Stakeholder Engagement Build strong working relationships with finance leaders, business partners, and internal stakeholders across the organisation. Collaborate with technology teams to ensure analytics tools and systems align with governance standards and best practice. About You Qualifications Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline (mandatory). CA/CPA membership, or progress toward membership, is mandatory. Experience 2–4 years’ experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or a related commercial finance role. Demonstrated experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, investment analysis, and decision support. Experience preparing reports and submissions for senior leadership and executive audiences. Strong data analysis and visualisation capability using Business Intelligence tools (e.g. Power BI, Qlik, Tableau). Experience working with large ERP systems. Key Skills Strong financial acumen with advanced modelling, forecasting, and variance analysis capability. Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and influence decision-making. Strategic mindset with the ability to align financial insights to broader organisational objectives. Experience with advanced analytics or automation tools is desirable.
