Job Description:

Bonding product Specialist (BPS) for Industrial Design & Assembly Solutions (IDAS) is a specialized Sales Role that drives transformational change in 3M growth at the assigned Market segments ( Automotive/Appliance/Electronics) through skillful execution of business tactics. Cross functional collaboration is pivotal to the success in this role as also the familiarity with a variety of the industry best practices and procedures. This role requires a candidate to possess between 5 – 7 years of experience in similar industrial adhesives/bonding applications. The candidate must exhibit quick learning skills, one who relies on extensive relevant experience and judgment to accomplish goals. The candidate should possess strong process orientation and high standards of professional values. The candidate is expected to coach and build the team’s technical competency relevant to the segment. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to the head of a unit/department.

Responsible for sales of assigned Key Accounts with a focus to increased penetration and business share Driving for spec-in of large opportunities & ensure faster Closed Won Work with technical & marketing team in driving application replication & competitive conversion Leading for Sales Blitz execution & Co-ordinate with marketer & AE for activities execution BPS to lead & Co-own all automation opportunities BPS to identify eco system partner & lead for relationship development Provide training to Division sales rep & GIC team Understand, collaborate & replicate global success stories, new applications & NPI. Lead for NPI project Customer interface for cross functional teams involved in product development , to drive commercialization as per plan.
