The Company is listed on National Stock Exchange (NSE) and Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) in India.Role profileRole title: Channel Sales ManagerFunction: EnterpriseBand:Job Family: SalesBusiness Area: Enterprise BusinessReports to: Zonal Head and functional reporting to CircleSME HeadLocation :Role purpose:To manage and drive the market share in order to attain market leadership in territory allocated within the SMEsegment, through growth, in terms of subscriber base , revenues, market share, whilst complying with agreedbudget , timescales and agreed policy guidelines as also with all regulatory normsKey accountabilities and decision ownership:Strategic Plan implementation of sales strategies to growsubscriber base, better penetration and enhancecompetitive position Channel engagement & development strategiesto drive loyalty and retentionOperational Responsible for subscriber growth in SMEbusiness for the territory allocated Increase the subscriber base through acquisitionin new accounts, as well as a deeper penetrationin existing accounts within the allocatedaccounts Account planning & drive sales of voice and dataproducts through the channel partner teams Set goals and targets for the acquisition &retention and monitor the performance of theteamDevelopment Channel Development & motivation Training and coaching of teamHSW Compliance Ensure that the HSW norms are adhered toCore competencies, knowledge and experience:Critical Success Factors Continuous Learning & Empowering Talent Building Team Commitment Leads Decision Making & Delivering Results Builds Strategic Relationships & OrganizationalAgility. Analytical ThinkingThreshold Functional Competencies Strong Implementation skills Strong Commercial Skills Knowledge on Telecom technologies &solutions A strong implementation mind set.Differentiating Functional Competencies Should be comfortable with change andambiguity given the dynamic businessenvironment Ability to communicate at multiple levels withboth customers and colleaguesExperience 4- 6 years plus of which at least 2-3 year shouldbe in a managerial positions managing channelsales teams.Must have technical / professional qualifications: Essential : MBA Desired : MBA from reputed instituteDelhiKey performance indicators Subscriber acquisition numbers and subscriberbase growth. Market-share growth Customer satisfaction Drive quality of subscriber acquisition.Vodafone Idea Limited
