
Manager - Account (B2B Travel Industry)

Job Purpose:
To manage end-to-end accounting and financial operations for the B2B travel business, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance, and effective handling of accounts related to travel partners, vendors, and online portals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily accounting operations for B2B travel transactions (airlines, hotels, portals, and agents).
- Manage accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, and vendor settlements.
- Handle
online portal accounting
and integration of transactions in
Tally Prime
. - Maintain and reconcile ledgers, bank accounts, and credit card statements.
- Prepare and analyze MIS reports, cash flow statements, and profitability analysis.
- Monitor GST, TCS, and TDS compliances as per statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with auditors, banks, and stakeholders for smooth financial operations.
- Ensure accurate and timely billing, invoicing, and collection from B2B clients.
- Implement process improvements for financial controls and reporting.
- Supervise the accounts team and ensure accuracy in data entry & reporting.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of
Accounting Principles, GST, TCS/TDS
in the travel industry. - Hands-on experience with
Tally Prime
(mandatory). - Advanced proficiency in
MS Excel
(Pivot, VLOOKUP, MIS reporting). - Good understanding of
online travel portals and B2B settlements
. - Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication & team management skills.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's/master's degree in commerce/finance/accounting.
- 5–8 years of accounting experience
, preferably in the
travel & tourism (B2B) industry
. - Prior experience in handling online portal accounting is a must.
- Exposure to ERP/Tally Prime and travel settlement cycles.
