Job Summary:

The Spice Packing Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the spice packing unit. This role ensures that all packing activities are carried out efficiently, hygienically, and in accordance with quality standards and production targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage spice packing operations on the production floor.
  • Plan and execute daily packing schedules to meet production targets.
  • Monitor packing line processes to ensure compliance with SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
  • Coordinate with machine operators and workers for smooth operation.
  • Ensure availability of packing materials (pouches, labels, cartons, etc.) on time.
  • Conduct quality checks during packing including weight, sealing, labeling, and date coding.
  • Report any machine breakdowns or operational issues to the maintenance team promptly.
  • Maintain daily production and packing reports.
  • Ensure safety, cleanliness, and hygiene standards on the shop floor.
  • Implement methods to reduce wastage and improve productivity.
