B2B Sales Consultant

As a Senior Sales Consultant, you will independently manage the entire sales cycle, leveraging your expertise to establish relationships with enterprise clients and achieve aggressive sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
Client Engagement and Acquisition
- Identify and target high-potential B2B clients across relevant industries.- Build relationships with senior stakeholders, including C-level executives, to understand their business needs and position Kong AI as a strategic solution.
Sales Process Management
- Own and execute the complete sales cycle, including prospecting, qualifying, pitching, negotiating, and closing deals.- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals tailored to client needs.- Conduct product demonstrations, showcasing Kong AI’s features and benefits in addressing client pain points.
Strategic Selling
- Focus on consultative selling to align Kong AI’s offerings with clients’ long-term business goals.- Upsell and cross-sell additional functionalities or solutions to maximize value for both the client and the company.
Market Intelligence and Insights
- Conduct thorough market research to understand industry trends and identify new opportunities for Kong AI.- Monitor competitor activities to refine sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
Reporting and Metrics
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities in the CRM system (e.g., Salesforce or HubSpot).- Provide regular updates on pipeline health, sales forecasts, and client feedback to the leadership team.- Meet or exceed assigned revenue and performance targets.
Independent Drive
- Operate with a high level of autonomy, taking ownership of achieving sales goals and managing relationships.- Collaborate cross-functionally when required, but drive your own results as an individual contributor.
QualificationsExperience
- 6-10 years of experience in B2B IT sales, ideally in selling SaaS, AI, or cutting-edge technology solutions.- Proven track record of closing high-value deals with enterprise clients and managing long sales cycles.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or related fields (MBA preferred).
Skills
- Exceptional consultative selling and relationship-building skills.- Strong ability to articulate technical solutions in a clear and compelling manner.- Expertise in leveraging CRM platforms like Salesforce or HubSpot for pipeline management.- Outstanding communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.- High level of self-motivation and ability to thrive in a target-driven environment.
