We are hiring for Technical Director
Job Location : Bangalore / Noida/ Coimbatore
Years of experience: 12-18 years
Responsibilities:
1. Technology Strategy and Vision:
Develop and implement the company's technology strategy in alignment with business goals and objectives.
Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, and assess their potential impact on our products and services.
Provide strategic recommendations on technology adoption, investments, and partnerships to drive innovation and competitive advantage.
2. Software Product Development:
Lead and manage the software product development team, providing technical guidance and mentorship to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Define and enforce best practices, development methodologies, and quality standards to optimize efficiency and productivity.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management and design, to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
3. Technical Operations:
Oversee the infrastructure, systems, and tools necessary to support the software development lifecycle.
Implement robust security measures and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
Monitor and optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability to meet customer expectations.
4. Team Leadership and Development:
Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within the technology team.
Recruit, develop, and retain top talent, providing coaching and mentorship to help individuals reach their full potential.
Establish clear goals and performance metrics for the team, and provide regular feedback and performance evaluations.
5. Stakeholder Management:
Collaborate with executive leadership and other stakeholders to align technology initiatives with business objectives.
Communicate effectively with clients, partners, and other external stakeholders, representing the company's technological capabilities and expertise.
Interact with prospective and existing clients on product features, enhancements & problem-solving.
6. Qualifications:
20+ years of work experience in IT /Tech domain Experience in managing teams of significant size and experience in developing software Products.
A degree in Computer Science, engineering, or a related field. An MBA or business-related qualification is a plus.
Proven experience in a senior leadership role within a software product development company or a similar technical environment.
Strong technical background, with hands-on experience in software development and architecture. Salesforce knowledge will be a big advantage.
Deep knowledge of software engineering practices, development methodologies, and emerging technologies.
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute technology strategies that drive business growth and innovation.
Excellent leadership and people management skills, with a track record of building and motivating high-performing teams.
Strong business understanding and the ability to align technical decisions with overall business objectives.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
