We are hiring for Technical Director

Job Location : Bangalore / Noida/ Coimbatore

Years of experience: 12-18 years

Responsibilities:

1. Technology Strategy and Vision:

  • Develop and implement the company's technology strategy in alignment with business goals and objectives.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, and assess their potential impact on our products and services.
  • Provide strategic recommendations on technology adoption, investments, and partnerships to drive innovation and competitive advantage.

2. Software Product Development:

  • Lead and manage the software product development team, providing technical guidance and mentorship to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Define and enforce best practices, development methodologies, and quality standards to optimize efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management and design, to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

3. Technical Operations:

  • Oversee the infrastructure, systems, and tools necessary to support the software development lifecycle.
  • Implement robust security measures and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Monitor and optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability to meet customer expectations.

4. Team Leadership and Development:

  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within the technology team.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain top talent, providing coaching and mentorship to help individuals reach their full potential.
  • Establish clear goals and performance metrics for the team, and provide regular feedback and performance evaluations.

5. Stakeholder Management:

  • Collaborate with executive leadership and other stakeholders to align technology initiatives with business objectives.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, partners, and other external stakeholders, representing the company's technological capabilities and expertise.
  • Interact with prospective and existing clients on product features, enhancements & problem-solving.

6. Qualifications:

  • 20+ years of work experience in IT /Tech domain Experience in managing teams of significant size and experience in developing software Products.
  • A degree in Computer Science, engineering, or a related field. An MBA or business-related qualification is a plus.
  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role within a software product development company or a similar technical environment.
  • Strong technical background, with hands-on experience in software development and architecture. Salesforce knowledge will be a big advantage.
  • Deep knowledge of software engineering practices, development methodologies, and emerging technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute technology strategies that drive business growth and innovation.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with a track record of building and motivating high-performing teams.
  • Strong business understanding and the ability to align technical decisions with overall business objectives.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
