Job Description

 Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy to foster relationships with industry and

academic interactions leading to campus training & placements, career counselling,

internships, dissertations and strategic tie-ups.

 Establish, Create Policies, Systems Processes and procedures of the career services and

Placement cell.

 Maintain and regularly update placement agencies and Alumni Database and provide the

analytics to the president for the better decision making.

 Organizing, attending and participating in activities such as conferences, Seminars,

Workshops, Round tables etc., and advocating the university as a recruitment

destination of choice.

 Interaction with senior level management of the recruiters to form and sustain deep

relationships and establish the institute as a preferred brand amongst top companies and

recruiters.

 Identify career & skill development needs of students and appropriately devise individual

learning plans, training sessions and interactive lectures making students industry ready.

 Ensuring database management and its analysis, creating and maintaining student life

cycle and placement trackers, comparative analysis of student and placement data.

 Ensure completion and implementation closely working with the communications function

in the development of promotional materials (newsletter, presentations, brochures,

posters, website, social media announcements, application instruction, videos, etc.) that

interpret the university to prospective corporate.

 Build and maintain relevant contacts with Government departments, industry, business,

hospitals, and professional groups to promote the student internship and Placement

program.

 Work with key stakeholders including Alumni, Faculty, Administration, Marketing &

Admissions teams to achieve both career services and larger institutional objectives.

Required Candidate profile

 Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

 Excellent ability to develop relationships, establish networks and handle details oriented

projects independently

 An excellent planner and strategist with proven abilities in accelerating growth along with

strong networking with Corporate agencies/institutions

 Expertise in conceptualizing, planning and organization of various successful career and

recruitment events, corporate meets, placement seminars, conferences with national and

international delegates.

 Proficient in digital media, recruitment platforms.
