About the role:

As a Senior Copywriter, you will be creating copy that is not just creative, but adds layers of strategy, industry context and insights as well. This would involve translating complex B2B concepts into compelling narratives that resonate with diverse audiences.


How is it different from B2C copywriting?

Understanding a B2B decision-maker will play a crucial role in this. Unlike B2C, where the goal might be an immediate purchase, B2B copy often aims to generate leads, nurture relationships, and position the brand as a thought leader in its industry. Yet, there is a need to balance between being informative and being persuasive, as B2B is increasingly breaking that stereotype mould of communicating.


How can we be technical, data-driven, ROI-focused, while ensuring that we appeal to human emotions, imbibe trust and build appealing copy? Striking that balance will be one of your core responsibilities.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Conceptualize and present big ideas to clients, manage creative expectations linked to their brands
  • Write and supervise content creation across multiple platforms, including social media, ads, video content, websites, emailers, apps, print, and brand identity projects
  • Mentor junior writers, fostering clear and compelling copy across all mediums
  • Collaborate across teams to develop content in line with performance, design, and client objectives
  • Develop innovative marketing collaterals that build brand equity for clients
  • Drive creative projects from initial concept to launch, crafting campaigns and brand narratives
  • Merge cultural and strategic insights with creative best practices and personal experience
  • Stay updated on emerging trends and innovations in the retail and B2B marketing industries
  • Adapt to competing demands and shifting priorities while maintaining copy accuracy
  • Champion the organization's purpose, values, and direction


Qualifications:

  • 5-6 years of copywriting experience
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating versatility in writing styles and formats
