Job Description:
Assistant General Manager of Roger DeanChevrolet Stadium / Director of Partnerships & BusinessDevelopment.
Responsibilities:
1. This full-time position isresponsible for providing quality leadership to the staff of RogerDean Chevrolet Stadium, Spring Training home to the Miami Marlinsand St. Louis Cardinals, and Minor League home to the JupiterHammerheads and Palm Beach Cardinals. This position reportsdirectly to the stadium?s General Manager. A strong emphasis willbe on Corporate Sponsorship Sales and Ticket Sales.
2.Work to sell new sponsorships, emphasizing cultivating existingclients into larger accounts and generating new business. Cold callbusinesses throughout the region with the goal of setting upface-to-face appointments. Oversee many of the sales programs thatare responsible for drawing fans to the ballpark each year. Work tocreate new relationships and create programs that can ultimatelylead to selling tickets.
3. Serve as the General Managerof the Jupiter Hammerheads. Represent the club on all Class-ASoutheast League-related matters. Be responsible for travelarrangements for the Jupiter Hammerheads. Assist with thedevelopment of the promotional schedule for all Spring Training andMinor League games. Serve as the primary contact with the MiamiMarlins for all Jupiter Hammerheads-relatedmatters.
Qualification:
1. Bachelor?s degree in a related fieldMinimum of five years management experience in the sports industrySales oriented; committed to teamwork
2. Strong attentionto detail, communication, prioritization, and organization skillsExcellent problem-solving skills & ability to multi-taskProficient with Microsoft Office.
3. Tickets (com) /Provenue experience a plus. Must be able to lift a minimum of fifty(50) pounds. Must be able to work irregular and extended hours,including evenings, weekends, andholidays.
