Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Infrastructure Head to oversee the management of our data centre infrastructure. The ideal candidate will ensure our data centre operations' reliability, security, and efficiency to support our growing business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans for the data centre infrastructure to align with company objectives and support business growth.
  • Infrastructure Management: Manage all aspects of the data centre infrastructure, including servers, storage, networking, and virtualization technologies.
  • Capacity Planning: Conduct regular capacity planning assessments to ensure the data centre infrastructure supports current and future business requirements.
  • Security Management: Implement robust security measures to protect the data centre infrastructure from threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Disaster Recovery: Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and procedures to ensure business continuity during a disaster or system failure.
  • Vendor Management: Oversee relationships with third-party vendors and service providers to ensure the timely delivery of services and support.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of infrastructure professionals, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards, such as GDPR, HIPAA, and ISO 27001.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the infrastructure budget, ensuring expenditures are within budgetary constraints and providing regular financial reports to senior management.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains within the data centre infrastructure, implementing best practices and innovative solutions as appropriate.
