Overview of Job Function:The Team Lead, Software Engineer works in a software development team with members of thedevelopment organization, QE and Tier 3 Support and is responsible for the design, development, andthe implementation of server-side software systems. The team lead works closely with management ondepartmental issues, with latitude for independent judgment and decision-making within definedguidelines.Principal Duties and Essential Responsibilities: Supervise teams within the software development function Responsible for one or more product areas for Verint’s Enterprise product suite Develop and implement software development plans, processes, and procedures andensures they are adhered to Design, implement, and test complex software applications Lead in team activities – Requirements gathering & analysis,Design/Architecture/Implementation/Testing and the related reviews Collaborate with other departments to prioritize software development needs includingdesign, development, and documenting and testing new and existing software May serve in a scrum master role as part of the agile software development process Ensure the team achieves the agreed timelines and milestones, reliability & performance,quality measures and meets the overall acceptance criteria of their responsible productareas Evaluate results with stakeholders to determine if organizational objectives are being met Analyze and resolve software development issues and needs in terms of the software'sfull life cycle Perform root cause analysis

Job Description Act as a point of contact and escalation for the team/functionMinimum Requirements: BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering or other related degree 8+ years of software development experience 2+ years of Team Lead experience Strong Proficiency in Java server-side programming Experience with designing and building fault-tolerant, highly-available, distributedsystems Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within software design anddevelopment Experience in Object Oriented analysis and design Strong troubleshooting & debugging capabilities in an agile software development teamenvironment Detail oriented and highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities andparallel projects General understanding and proven real-world design experience with server-sidefundamentals (multi-processing, multi-threading, inter-process communication, disk I/O,network I/O, memory allocation, . Successful completion of Verint’s background screening process including, but not limitedto, employment verifications, criminal search, OFAC, and SS verificationPreferred Requirements: Advanced degree preferred Experience with CTI (Computer Telephony Integration) and telephony systems Experience with private/public cloud platforms AWS, Azure or GCP Ability to prioritize and delegate tasks across team boundaries and/or geographicallydispersed teams Excellent organization, time management, and project leadership skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Adheres to strict deliverable deadlines while able to multi-task
