Role Overview
We're looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) who will be responsible for generating and qualifying leads, booking meetings for our Business Development Managers, and helping expand Zudu AI's footprint in high call-volume industries like BFSI, Retail, Healthcare, and Telecom.
This is a junior, growth-oriented role —perfect for someone early in their sales career who wants to gain experience in enterprise SaaS, CPaaS, and CCaaS sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify target accounts in BFSI, Retail, Healthcare, and other relevant verticals.
- Reach out to prospects via cold calls, , email campaigns, and WhatsApp .
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads based on company fit and potential use cases for Voice AI.
- Secure discovery meetings for the Business Development Manager or Founder.
- Maintain accurate lead and activity records in our CRM.
- Collaborate with marketing to run targeted outreach campaigns.
- Stay updated on industry trends in CCaaS, CPaaS, conversational AI, and cloud telephony .
Requirements
- 0–2 years of sales, lead generation, or customer-facing experience (freshers with strong communication skills are welcome).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (bonus if fluent in Hindi/Tamil).
- Strong interest in AI, SaaS, cloud communications, or contact center technology .
- Ability to handle high-volume outbound activity daily.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and eager to learn.
Preferred but Not Mandatory
- Experience in SDR, telemarketing, inside sales, or lead generation in a B2B tech environment .
- Exposure to CPaaS / CCaaS platforms or telecom SaaS sales.
- Familiarity with CRM tools (Close.com, HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.).
