Role Overview

We're looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) who will be responsible for generating and qualifying leads, booking meetings for our Business Development Managers, and helping expand Zudu AI's footprint in high call-volume industries like BFSI, Retail, Healthcare, and Telecom.

This is a junior, growth-oriented role—perfect for someone early in their sales career who wants to gain experience in enterprise SaaS, CPaaS, and CCaaS sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research and identify target accounts in BFSI, Retail, Healthcare, and other relevant verticals.
  • Reach out to prospects via cold calls, , email campaigns, and WhatsApp.
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads based on company fit and potential use cases for Voice AI.
  • Secure discovery meetings for the Business Development Manager or Founder.
  • Maintain accurate lead and activity records in our CRM.
  • Collaborate with marketing to run targeted outreach campaigns.
  • Stay updated on industry trends in CCaaS, CPaaS, conversational AI, and cloud telephony.

Requirements

  • 0–2 years of sales, lead generation, or customer-facing experience (freshers with strong communication skills are welcome).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (bonus if fluent in Hindi/Tamil).
  • Strong interest in AI, SaaS, cloud communications, or contact center technology.
  • Ability to handle high-volume outbound activity daily.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and eager to learn.

Preferred but Not Mandatory

  • Experience in SDR, telemarketing, inside sales, or lead generation in a B2B tech environment.
  • Exposure to CPaaS / CCaaS platforms or telecom SaaS sales.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (Close.com, HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.).
