Job Summary:

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for Pinkerton's high volume requisition/recruitment tasks within the India region. The Specialist works collaboratively with the other Specialist and Manager to prioritize the open requisitions, completes candidate review and phone screenings in a timely manner, and assists the Coordinator with the new hire steps, as needed. This position is critical to Talent Acquisition's successful hiring and onboarding of internal positions and client-based PDPs (Pinkerton Dedicated Professional).

Essential Functions:

Represent Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence. Assist with the requisition process; Create and/or modify existing job descriptions and job codes within the ATS (Applicant Tracking System), based on Pinkerton's global formatting standards. Open approved requisitions via the ATS by the established deadline. Complete job boarding postings via the ATS. Provide feedback to the TA Manager regarding candidate flow and provide alternative solutions to source qualified candidates. Discuss open requisitions with the team, follow the TA Manager's lead regarding priorities, and address potential recruitment concerns. Assist with candidate pre-screening steps including phone screens, interviews, and ATS candidate status updates; Follow established global Talent Acquisition guidelines including the time to fill standard. Discuss candidate advancement recommendations with the TA Manager, hiring managers, and/or Directors. Follow-up with hiring managers and/or Directors, as need, regarding incomplete candidate review steps. Assist the Talent Acquisition Coordinator with new hire employment offer letters and background screening steps during times of urgency and/or necessity Follow-up with new hires, as needed, to ensure all basic questions/concerns have been addressed. Serve as an effective team member or leader within talent management projects including; process efficiency, software utilization, and new hire programs. As needed, serve as the back-up to the TA Coordinator role during leaves or as designated by management. Participate in cross training to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the Talent Acquisition team. All other duties, as assigned. Education, Experience or Certifications:Graduate, MBA preferred. A minimum of four years of recruitment/HR experience is required.
