UX Researcher

Location: Pune/Mumbai, Bangalore

Notice period- 30 days or less than 30 days

What you will be doing

  • You’ll be developing and executing research plans that integrate multiple projects.
  • You’ll be raising and proposing resolution of research issues affecting multiple aspects of the system.
  • You’ll be identifying user problems and recommending solutions.
  • You’ll be managing recruitment activities for user research participants including: developing criteria, creating screeners, connecting with potential participants, tracking status, preparing materials, and arranging for incentives.
  • You’ll work cross-functionally with Design, Product and Engineering partners and represent the design.
  • You’ll synthesize, communicate, and present research findings, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • You’ll produce clear, concise and compelling research documents including research plans, screeners, moderator guides and results/report documentation.
  • You’ll Influence product managers and design managers to use research findings and other sources to develop, refine, and prioritize product requirements.

What you should have

  • 4-6 years of product design experience with mobile and web products
  • Deep understanding of user­ centered design methods.
  • Extensive experience in the planning and moderating of many user research. methodologies such as testing strategies, field research, card sorting techniques and heuristic reviews.
  • Has strong understanding of all areas of UX research and can assess issues/needs in all. Is gaining understanding of non­UX areas such as marketing and web development.
  • Experience conducting UX research for mobile devices a plus.
  • Experience working and collaborating with diverse teams in a dynamic, rapid-growth environment.
  • Experience partnering with Design and Product Managers to develop a research strategy
  • A strong belief in user-centered design principles.
  • The ability to work independently to troubleshoot technical and process-related issues.
  • You’re a go-getter, self-sufficient, and seek out answers to your questions
  • You’re quick, you work fast, and thrive in a high-pressure environment.
  • You have stellar time management skills, with prior experience in a time-sensitive development environment.
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
