Publisher Account Manager
Location: Hybrid (Remote + Office)
Experience Required: 2-5 years in Digital Publishing or Programmatic Advertising
Role Summary
At The Germane Media LLC , we’re committed to empowering publishers and optimizing their monetization strategies. As a Publisher Account Manager , you will be pivotal in ensuring publisher satisfaction, fostering long-term partnerships, and driving revenue growth. Your role will involve nurturing relationships, addressing technical and operational needs, and collaborating across teams to deliver innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Publisher Relationship Management
Cultivate strong, lasting relationships with publishers to ensure satisfaction, retention, and maximize their lifetime value (LTV).
Conduct regular performance reviews, optimize ad placements, and identify new opportunities for growth.
Host Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) —virtually or in-person—to strengthen publisher partnerships.
Technical & Operational Support
Be the first point of contact for publishers, resolving technical and reporting issues efficiently.
Handle operational tasks such as updating ads.txt , managing advertiser block requests, and ensuring policy compliance.
Partner with internal teams, including AdOps, Product, and Tech , to troubleshoot complex issues and streamline processes.
Data-Driven Insights
Analyze key performance metrics, such as Core Web Vitals, SEO, page speed , and ad performance.
Provide publishers with actionable insights to enhance their inventory and revenue growth.
Internal Advocacy & Collaboration
Advocate for publishers by sharing meaningful product feedback with the Product and Engineering teams.
Conduct cross-departmental training sessions to foster alignment and improve service delivery.
Keep internal documentation up-to-date and work with colleagues to refine workflows.
Process Improvement
Design and implement efficient workflows to elevate account management practices.
Identify process gaps and propose innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Industry Knowledge
Strong understanding of publisher monetization strategies, including programmatic, video, and app-based advertising.
Familiarity with website performance metrics and tools.
Technical Proficiency
Hands-on experience with platforms like Google Ad Manager , JIRA , and the Google Suite .
Client-Centric Approach
Proven ability to build and scale strong client relationships.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence in presenting to senior executives.
Problem Solving
Proactive problem-solver with a creative approach to addressing challenges for both clients and internal stakeholders.
Adaptability & Independence
